On this site you will find information about our school, the subjects we teach and important dates in our school year.

The Wildernesse School is a successful and caring school that welcomes boys of all abilities from 11 to 19. In recent years our school has enjoyed real success in many areas and it is now a Specialist School for Mathematics and Computing. This allows us to invest in our buildings and facilities, increase our staff and extend the range of courses we teach. We will continue to offer a broad and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of all the boys and to provide an environment where they can achieve their potential and feel fulfilled.

The Wildernesse School welcomes you to our website

We believe that boys learn best when they have a supportive, structured environment and so we provide clear rules and procedures, sound discipline and strong pastoral care. We also involve parents in their sons' education and expect them to support the school, its aims and methods of working.

Ofsted Inspection

The Wildernesse School enjoyed a successful Ofsted – despite the severe weather conditions.  Among the highlights, inspectors noted good curriculum, good behaviour, improving results, good care, guidance and support, good use of ICT, including the web-site, good relationships between pupils and staff, a healthy, happy safe school, good provision for pupils with Special Needs and significant improvements in the teaching, standards and curriculum in the Sixth Form. Many thanks and congratulations to all involved.
